Permanent Makeup

What is permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup is a form of cosmetic tattooing in which pigment is implanted into the upper layer of the skin. The main difference between regular tattooing and permanent makeup is that the needles used in permanent makeup are much finer, and the technique is done using tools and devices specifically made for the facial skin.

What is microblading?

Microblading is considered as a manual method to perform permanent makeup. The handheld pen like tool has tiny micro pins that make up a very small blade that can create hairstrokes that appear almost identical to real eyebrow hair. Really cool, right?

What is powder ombré or ombré brows?

Although powder brows are still a form of permanent makeup, it is performed a bit different. This technique is created by using a digital device with one small pin in a cartridge. If you've ever have had a body tattoo, it's manufactured basically the same way, but just a smaller version.

What is blade & shade?

It's a natural blend of both microblading and powder ombre.

What is a combination brow?

Ah yes! My favourite technique of permanent makeup and the best seller. This is what Plush Perfection's is know for.

So you learned a little bit about the services and the benefits why permanent makeup is so popular to have, but here is some additional information about the techniques themselves.

Permanent makeup is a type of cosmetic tattooing. The tattooing technique has been around for centuries and was originally used to help people with missing eyebrows or eyelashes. Today, the technique is used for a variety of reasons, including to help people with alopecia, vitiligo, and other conditions that cause hair loss. Permanent makeup is done by a licensed cosmetologist or tattoo artist. The artist uses a needle to insert pigment into the skin. The pigment is then absorbed by the body over time. The results of permanent makeup can last for several years. However, the pigments can fade over time, especially if they are exposed to sunlight. Permanent makeup can be a great way to enhance your appearance. If you are considering permanent makeup, be sure to consult with a licensed cosmetologist or tattoo artist to discuss your options.
